We have our first trailer for The Acolyte, a Disney Plus series set before any contemporary Disney Star Wars content, when the Jedi were many.
In The Acolyte's debut teaser, Amandla Stenberg's Sith warrior hunts and kills Jedi with a little knife, suggesting a strategy behind the seemingly unusual behavior.
We see a crimson saber flying around and a force blast knocking a Jedi crew off their feet later, but Stenberg is not expressly seen doing that damage.
Sol, played by Lee Jung-jae, is a Jedi master who appears to have taught Stenberg and must stop her Jedi murder rampage.
There is a character named Aniseya, whose name comes from ancient Greek and means “unequal, uneven,” which seems fitting as she is seeking to balance the strength of the Jedi and everyone else.
