A viral X post on Tuesday claimed to have inside information on an agreement to bring Justin Jefferson, Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase's former LSU teammate, to Cincinnati.
The post says “a dude in the community” told him his girlfriend works at Kroger with Olivia Holzmacher, Burrow's girlfriend.
Holzmacher stated the Bengals were “deep in negotiations” for Jefferson, according to X.
“He said it would be Tee [Higgins] and 2 firsts for [Jefferson], and Burrow has agreed to restructure his contract so [Jefferson] and Chase would both get 3 years 100 million contracts,” the social media post adds.
Adam Schefter of ESPN claimed that Higgins requested a trade from Cincinnati this week.
The tweet is nearing 1 million views as of 12 p.m. Wednesday.
