While sharing images with her sons on International Stiff-Person Syndrome Awareness Day, Céline Dion expressed gratitude for her family.
The Grammy winner, who was diagnosed with the rare disorder in 2022, uploaded a photo of herself with her three sons—René-Charles, 23, and twin boys Nelson and Eddy, 13—on Instagram on Friday to mark International SPS Awareness Day.
The lovely snapshot shows the family smiling atop a podium for K1 Speed go-kart racing.
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, a branch of the National Institutes of Health, reported that Dion, 55, updated her battle with the rare autoimmune neurological ailment with a variety of symptoms in the caption.
"As many of you know, in the fall of 2022, I was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS)," she said.
"Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible."
She added, "Thank you, kids, family, team, and everyone else, for your love and support! I urge and assist SPS victims worldwide."
She ended the note, "You can do it! We can do it!" she told her fans, closing with her name and "love".
