‘Dead Boy Detectives’ release date, cast, plot, and more

While we wait for the next season of The Sandman to arrive, Neil Gaiman returns to remind us why he and Netflix are the true streaming dream combo.

Dead Boy Detectives, while not a direct spinoff, will expand the Sandman universe.

Dead Boy Detectives, like The Sandman, is based on a DC Vertigo comic book created by Gaiman.

Originally planned as a Max original series, the HBO platform eventually dropped the project, leaving Netflix to eagerly pick it up and run with it.

Given the success of Gaiman adaptations in Prime's fair Omens and the aforementioned Sandman,

there's a fair possibility Max will be shown to have made a huge mistake by letting Netflix pick this one up.

Are you trying to figure out whether or not to watch Dead Boy Detectives when it hits Netflix this spring? Here's everything you need to know about solving the case.

Honestly, I believe the title Dead Boy Detectives says everything you need to know about this juvenile supernatural-mystery series, but here's some extra information for you.
