Dolly Parton has added another distinction to her extensive resume: dog stylist.
The iconic singer, philanthropist, perfumer, and so on is venturing into the pet accessory market with the debut of the suitably called Doggy Parton.
The new collection includes concert T-shirts, toys, fringed cowgirl outfits, rhinestone harnesses, gingham blouses, bandanas, and even a blonde wig.
Doggy Parton is presently available at DoggyParton.com and Amazon, with additional retailers to follow soon. In true Dolly fashion, sales benefit a worthy cause.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Willa B Farms, a Tennessee rescue group dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected and abandoned animals.
"'Puppy Love' was my debut record, and six decades later, my passion for pets is stronger than ever.
This led me to launch my own brand of Doggy Parton clothes, accessories, toys, and more with a 'Dolly' twist," Parton stated in a video statement.
"A portion of the earnings will benefit Willa B Farms, a rescue where animals in need find unconditional love. "Don't we all need that?"
