Following a crushing victory, Duke basketball's ACC Tournament opponent was confirmed.

Duke basketball's first postseason game will take place in Washington, D.C., between two in-state rivals.

In the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament, the Blue Devils, the second-seeded team, will play North Carolina State, the tenth seed, on Thursday night (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN).

North Carolina State defeated Syracuse, the seventh seed, 83-65, to secure their spot in the game

The Wolfpack led at 35–32 at the half, but they would go on to score 48 points in the second half, so the game wasn't always lopsided.

NC State had four players with double figures, including three starters, but DJ Horne's performance stood out as the key to the team's triumph.

Due to a hip flexor injury, Horne missed Tuesday afternoon's Wolfpack victory over Louisville but came back to score 16 points in 20 minutes off the bench.

Only 12 minutes were allotted to him in the team's regular season finale versus Pittsburgh.

North Carolina State's Jayden Taylor led the way with eighteen points.

The Blue Devils and Wolfpack will play for the second time in the past ten days after Duke prevailed 79-64 in their lone regular-season encounter.
