Former Dallas Cowboys Star Retiring From NFL At 28

At the age of 28, a former star of the Dallas Cowboys is leaving the National Football League.  

On Monday afternoon, 28-year-old Leighton Vander Esch declared his retirement from the NFL.   

Over the years, the former star of the Dallas Cowboys has had to cope with some severe injuries.  

Todd Archer, an ESPN NFL insider, broke the story on Monday afternoon.  

"Leighton Vander Esch, who played for the Cowboys for six years, announced his retirement today.  

He was forced to make this choice last season due to a neck issue.  

The Cowboys cut him last week," he stated on Monday.  

Regretfully, he struggled to maintain his health, enduring multiple ailments throughout the years.
