Hailey Van Lith Stars In Commercial Ahead Of The NCAA Tournament

Hailey Van Lith and other basketball players playing in the NCAA tournament face significant stakes.

The LSU standout recently participated in an Adidas commercial targeting stressed-out young athletes.

"As athletes navigate high-stakes sporting moments throughout their careers, it can be difficult to deal with the weight of expectations."

"Our goal is to help these athletes rediscover the joy of sports," Adidas Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing Chris Murphy stated in a brand press statement.

"In partnership with Hailey Van Lith, we're inspiring the next generation of athletes, and helping them get back to why they started playing sports in the first place - to have fun.

Adidas, which has signed over 12,000 student-athletes to NIL contracts, began the advertising campaign last month.

Nneka Ogwumike, a WNBA All-Star, was among the top athletes invited to offer a message on overcoming pressure to play freely and love the game.

Perhaps Van Lith and other sportsmen will take that advice to heart during March Madness.
