Veteran point guard Isaiah Thomas' return to the NBA has been a long process. He joined with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, hoping to re-enter the NBA.
He quickly became well-known. Thomas performed well with the Stars, earning him a roster place with the Phoenix Suns
After not receiving a contract for the 2022-23 season, Thomas returned to the NBA, signing a 10-day contract.
Thomas' comeback was eventually completed on Wednesday night, when he appeared in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers
After nearly two years after his last appearance with the Charlotte Hornets, Thomas attended a game.
"I want to play a few more years in the league, so hopefully this is a setup for that," Thomas told reporters in Phoenix earlier Wednesday.
"Whatever the opportunity, I am ready to make a difference every day.
Whether I play or not, it is more than just putting the ball in the basket for me. I can lead by example, based on my own experiences. Please assist in any way possible."
