Jadon Sancho, a winger for Manchester United, will remain with Dortmund for the upcoming season.

In order to retain Jadon Sancho with the team for the upcoming campaign, Dortmund plans to talk to Manchester United about a season-long loan or a permanent transfer.

After having a falling out with Erik ten Hag, the England midfielder joined the team in January.

Sancho, though, has been playing better lately. On Wednesday, he scored his second goal in as many games to help Dortmund advance to the Champions League round of eight.

According to reports, Sancho will not go back to Old Trafford as long as Ten Hag is in charge, even if the Dutchman's future at the team is highly uncertain.

Ten Hag declined to bring Sancho back into his team after Sancho refused to apologize to the Dutchman for calling him a "scapegoat."

The playmaker's lack of playing time after four months away from the field made sense when he joined Dortmund.

The team will consider keeping Sancho in the long run, despite the fact that his salary would make a permanent transfer challenging.

Dortmund is amenable to a season-long loan arrangement should the finances not work out.

However, United would probably demand both a purchase obligation and a hefty loan fee.
