New 65-game rule disqualifies which players from MVP and other awards?

Despite being the latest, Donovan Mitchell will have more company.

Mitchell missed his 18th game this season on Monday night against Phoenix,

putting him ineligible for NBA postseason awards under the league's new 65-game rule.

Mitchell was considered for All-NBA, but he won't be on the ballot.

Mitchell has and will have more company. Name players who are ineligible for postseason prizes are long and expanding.

These top names are ineligible for postseason honors (not all would have been voted in, but voters can't consider them).

It strikes the All-Defensive team list hard.

That list will grow when more players miss too many games or will hit the mark due to injuries.

The UK landscape is seeing a dramatic increase in the presence of giant sequoias.
