Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution,” promoting pricey weight loss medications like Wegovy and Zepbound.

In December, Winfrey said she takes a weight-loss medicine but didn't say which.

Winfrey urges viewers to “stop shaming and blaming” themselves and others for weight gain since they have a “disease” like alcoholism in her presentation.

Winfrey stated, “The number one thing I hope people come away with is knowing that obesity is a disease, and it's in the brain.”

This assertion was supported by ABC News' chief medical correspondent and obesity medicine physician, Dr. Jen Ashton.
