Set in Star Wars' High Republic era before The Phantom Menace, The Acolyte follows a revered Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) who investigates ,
a succession of brutal murders and meets a lethal warrior (Amandla Stenberg) from his past.
Stenberg's character looks to be the murderer as they pull knives on another Jedi (Carrie-Anne Moss) in a desert world canteen.
Despite not using the Force much, Stenberg's character is skilled enough with blades to challenge numerous Jedi in combat.
In a time where there are so many Jedi, the teaser makes it impossible to tell what those strong in the dark side of the Force are after.
However, considering what we know will happen after The Acolyte's story, the program will likely be a massacre when it starts on June 4th.
