The Best Crockpot Potato Soup

For a cold night, this Crockpot Potato Soup is the most convenient meal. It has all of the greatest toppings, including cheese, sour cream, and bacon!

Replace butter with any other type of butter that you choose. Shallots or yellow and white onions would be excellent in this recipe.

Garlic: minced garlic in a jar works well in a pinch, but fresh minced garlic tastes better.

Although russet potatoes work just as well, Yukon gold potatoes are the ideal for potato soup.

Add salt to taste. Oregano and thyme might also work well. To taste, add pepper.

The greatest alternative here is veggie broth instead of chicken broth. Sour cream: For a healthier choice, use low-fat sour cream.

To the oiled crockpot, add the potatoes, onions, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper along with the chicken broth. Cook for three hours on high or eight hours on low heat.

Grate the cheese, cut the green onions, and cook the bacon in the oven or on a skillet.
