The Patriots have reportedly agreed to terms with former Buccaneers guard Nick Leverett.  

As the new league year began, the New England Patriots added more depth to their interior line.  

On Wednesday, the organisation agreed to terms with former Tampa Bay Buccaneers guard Nick Leverett, as first reported by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.  

Leverett, 27, joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The North Carolina Central and Rice University graduate spent the majority of his rookie

He appeared in 16 games as a member of the Super Bowl LV victors, including 10 starts in 2022.  

Leverett, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 310 pounds, often lines up at left guard but also plays centre and right guard.   

His time with the Buccaneers included 820 offensive snaps and 42 special teams snaps.  

 

Leverett appeared in three games last season, focusing solely on field goals and extra points after his exclusive rights were maintained.
