Our love for animals is inherent. Animals inspire empathy and curiosity. Zoos and expeditions are popular because of it. We're obsessed with our pets.

Studies reveal humans and monkeys are nearly identical. Over 95% of our DNA is identical. Shaking their heads, “No.” Monkeys detect their mirror images, unlike most animals. They giggle and gesture when tickled. When anxious, monkeys smoked, drank coffee, and ate.

Lions were the most popular animal for millennia. Emperors and tyrants wore them as royal ornaments. Lions are the second-largest cat after the tiger.
