Hannah Storm was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer during a routine mammography test.   

The ESPN host has finally spoken out about her surprising news, despite having no family history, pain, or lump.   

Storm encourages women to have frequent check-ups and prioritise their health in light of the growing number of early-stage breast cancer diagnoses and survivors.  

Hannah Storm, 61, has hosted ESPN for over 15 years and is an award-winning sports journalist for the network's SportsCentral channel.   

Storm has hosted numerous sporting events, including Wimbledon, the United States Open, the NBA Finals, the New York Marathon, and the Super Bowl.  

Aside from presenting events, she is also a published author who has written and produced two books: "Notre Dame Inspirations" and "Go Girl!  

Raising Healthy, Confident, and Successful Daughters through Sports." The popular host is also an advocate for children's issues.   

Strom received the most awful news at one of her routine mammography checks.
