'Yellowstone' star Luke Grimes says 'nothing will ever be the same' when show end

The road to "Yellowstone" may be ending, but one of the show's stars is having trouble letting go.

Luke Grimes is reminiscing on his time on the hit Western, which has had its own share of off-set turmoil, and admits that it will be difficult to adjust when everything is finished.

"We've been doing this for seven years, since 2017," he told People magazine. "That is crazy. This cast and crew are like a second family, and we spend a lot of time together.

It's been one of the most intense moments of my life. Also one of the most rewarding. It has transformed my life in every manner possible.""Nothing will ever be the same as a result of this show, in both positive and negative ways.

I'll miss it terribly. I am aware of this. I mean, I guess I'm ready to find out how it ends. I'm ready to tell the conclusion of the narrative."

Grimes has played Kayce Dutton, the son of Kevin Costner's character, John Dutton, in the fifth season of "Yellowstone."The show's fifth season will be its final.

It has previously been stated that Costner is unlikely to return for the second half of the show's final season.

The delay in filming new episodes, which was eventually extended owing to the Hollywood writers' strike, prompted speculation of a dispute between the actor and the production team.
