According to the group, the nonpartisan Vote.org website, where she directed her fans, received over 35,000 registrations.

Kelce received a nomination for best sports podcast for collaborating with his brother Jason on their “New Heights” episode. Speaking of couples, Michelle Obama was recognised for her “The Light Podcast,” while her husband, former US President Barack Obama, was recognised for his work with LinkedIn.The Academy selects the honours, while fans worldwide vote for the Webby People’s Voice Award. Voting for that honour is open until April 18. The winners of the prizes will be announced on May 13 during a presentation presented by “Late Night with Seth Meyers” writer and comedian Amber Ruffin.

Sweeney was recognised for cooperating with Ford Motor Company on a contest that awarded the winner a 2024 bespoke Mustang GT created by the actor. Paris Hilton was nominated for her 10-minute TikTok video on her family’s hotel chain.Brett Goldstein, the star of “Ted Lasso,” was recognised for his podcast “Films to Be Buried With,” in which he interviews guests about the films that have had the most impact on their life. In the TV and cinema podcast genre, he competes with podcasts on “The Crown,” “The Last of Us,” “Endeavour,” and “And Just Like That.”

Chalamet was nominated in the media and entertainment branded content category for his Apple TV+ ad, which is a follow-up to last year’s campaign with Jon Hamm. PBS has the most nominations (20), Warner Bros. Discovery has 18, Netflix has 14, CNN has 13, and Paramount, The Washington Post, and MTV Entertainment all have 11.

Members of the Academy include singer and writer Questlove, writer and actor Quinta Brunson, rapper and actor Tobe Nwigwe, writer and producer Roxane Gay, Pepsi Co. executive Todd Kaplan, and Meta’s AI scientist Yann LeCun.

The enduring popularity of the blockbuster film “Barbie” was also reflected in the Webby nominations, wherein Mattel received a nomination for its social media movie tie-ins and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer received one for her advocacy of a dark-haired Barbie wearing a pink pantsuit.
